Lifesize Entertainmentis a full service distributor and international sales agent, complete with N. American dvd label. We have cut back on releases due to the soft dvd market but still get involved with the right film. Wisely, we never abandoned our focus on international sales. So even as the world economy continues to drift, our established customers are able to keep us quite busy.

To meet shifting market demand, we are moving away from most independent and international art house product and towards a release slate that focuses on quality non fiction programming, preferably series. We’re still open to great independent features but the current dvd/vod market has made us be a lot pickier. To the extent that we still pick up a feature film, we prefer well produced genre titles like thrillers and heist films.

Internationally, the market for independent features is very soft. As a result we are shifting our focus back to our original roots, which is the same quality non fiction and series that we are looking to sell in the States. History, lifestyle, culture, reality, travel, nature/wildlife, science and current events are all in demand by our international customers. With rare exceptions, we will only pick up series and individual docs shot on HD.

We will attend MIP TV this April. We have had considerable success selling the 13 part reality series RESCUE VET and hope to continue that in 2012. Buyers include Discovery Europe and National Geographic. Another new property is PORTS OF THE CARRIBEAN, an 8 part history/travel series. Other new titles include STREET APOSTLE and DINASTIA VIVANCO. We’ll be introducing these new programs, along with several other new series, at MIP TV.
