SYNOPSIS:
PARANORMAL INTERVENTION (13 x 30) is engaging programming for true believers and casual fans of the phenomenon. Each week we’ll follow noted paranormal expert Gordon Thomas Ward and highly regarded medium Jennifer Lynn Goodman as they investigate paranormal activity around the New York Tri-State area. Gordon and Jennifer use state of the art technology, solid detective work and Jenn’s unique talents as a medium to help home owners, employees and other concerned persons come to terms with the paranormal occurrences they are experiencing. Past and present co-mingle as their investigations weave their way through historical myths and present day events to identify the phenomena that confronts their terrified clients.
One of the several new wrinkles that Paranormal Intervention brings to the genre is our use of Jennifer to provide a second opinion for Gordon’s findings. Jenn’s “second opinions,” derived from her direct communication with the paranormal entities themselves, will really close the deal with skeptical audiences. She is the antithesis of the stereotypical Goth Medium, bringing a high energy, bright personality to each investigation.
Whatever they conclude, Gordon’s no nonsense personality, coupled with Jenn’s incredible gifts, provide relief and comfort to the frightened subjects by helping them understand just what kind of danger, if any, they face from the paranormal activity they are dealing with.
