The Wild Bunch takes blue Chip wildlife programming to the next level by expanding the traditional focus on animal behavior to explore rapid species decline and how humans are able to help preserve and rebuild these various populations.
The Wild Bunch embraces the idea that species preservation today cannot wait for tomorrow. If the ecosystem we humans enjoy and rely on is to be preserved, committed people must act now. State of the art conservation techniques and technologies are used to achieve these objectives and audiences are given a front row seat to witness how damaged ecosystems can be rebuilt and threatened species saved.
Shot on location in Africa and using the same stunning cinematography that audiences have come to expect from Blue Chip wildlife programming, The Wild Bunch provides remarkably intimate perspectives on a variety of threatened species—and the efforts to protect and restore their populations. From Lions to Cape Griffon Vultures to other rare birds, Rhinos and Elephants, this series will entertain and educate audiences about the ways of these amazing animals and how pressure from human development has taken such a terrible toll on their populations.
